Supportive Independent Living
Living in the community is the goal of many people with disabilities, and supported living allows people freedom of choice regarding where they live.
Individuals supported in this program live in homes and apartments throughout the community, either alone or with roommates, and participate in society just as anyone else would. Supported individuals receive necessary services in their home and community. This allows for more personal choices and for our clients to express themselves as individuals.
Supportive Independent Living provides:
-
Daily living skills
-
Self care
-
Household management
-
Financial management
-
Social activities and recreation
